Track & Field Open Meeting – 6th July

The third of this years Isle of Man Athletics Association Open Meetings will take place on Wednesday 6th July at the NSC, hosted by Western AC.

Whilst this meeting is open all (age groups U13 and above) we will also be using it as a Junior Inter Club match with the first two athletes from each Club in each event (U13, U15 and U17) counting towards the match.  Please ensure that you wear your Club vests.

Registration will take place from 5.15pm for a 6.15pm start.  Cost will be £2 for the first event and £1 for each event thereafter (max 3 events per competitor – all age groups)

2016 Isle of Man T&F Championships

The 2016 Isle of Man Track & Field Championships sponsored by Zurich International Life take place at the NSC Douglas on July 23rd and 24th.

Please download your Entry form now, complete and return to: Di Shimell, 3 Marlborough Terrace, Alexander Drive, Douglas, Isle of Man. IM2 3QJ along with your entry fees:

U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, JUN  only £2.50 per event.
SEN £4.00 per event.

Please note U9’s, U11’s, U13’s, U15’s & U17’s may only compete in 3 events per day. Jun Men & Women may only compete in 4 events per day. All Athletes under the age of 15, may only compete in one distance race per day (inc Race Walks)

Please make cheques payable to the IOM Athletics Association.

Entries close on Friday 15th July 2016. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.

 

Junior Inter Club Match – 25th May 2016

Isle of Man Athletics are pleased to announce the results of the Junior Inter Club Match held during the Track & Field Open meeting on 25th May 2016.

Points were awarded to the first two athletes from each Club, in each event, on a scale 6-1.  The Club with the highest number of points gained over the match are the winners.

U13 & U15

1st with 183 points – Manx Harriers
2nd with 164 points – Northern AC
3rd with 55 points – Western AC

As you can see it was really close.

If you then include the U17 results to the above Manx Harriers increased their lead to 225 points, Northern to 199 points and Western with 89 points.
