CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE

WAYS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO
GET INVOLVED IN ATHLETICS

Athletics is a fantastic way for children and young people to stay active, develop new skills, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Whether they’re taking their first steps in the sport or aiming for future success, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved across the Isle of Man.

The Manx Youth Games introduces young athletes to running, jumping, and throwing, giving them the chance to train and compete in a friendly setting. Sportshall Athletics brings fast-paced, indoor action that focuses on teamwork, agility, and all-round fitness, making it a great entry point for aspiring athletes.

For those looking to take their performance to the next level, the SportsAid Academy supports talented young athletes, helping them progress towards their full potential.

No matter their experience or ability, there’s a place for every child to enjoy athletics. Find out more about how to get involved and start your athletics journey today!
