The Peel-to-Douglas Trail Race, organised by Manx Harriers, and sponsored by Brendan Downey Construction Ltd, takes place on Sunday 20 September 2026.
The race covers approximately 10.5 miles along the Heritage Trail, starting at 9:00am from Peel Fish Yard and finishing in Douglas at the end of the TT Access Road near Quarter Bridge.

ENTER THE PEEL-TO-DOUGLAS TRAIL RACE
Once you have completed your entry, please collect your race number from the Creek Inn between 7:30am and 8:30am on race morning.
The Route:
The Peel-to-Douglas Trail Race follows the scenic Heritage Trail from Peel towards Douglas.
The route features a gradual climb through the first half of the race, followed by a gentle descent towards Douglas. Runners can expect a mixture of loose gravel and tarmac sections throughout the course.
Prizes:
An extensive prize list will be available, with prizes across a range of categories.
Important Race Information:
Headphones are not permitted during the race, including bone-conduction headphones such as Shokz.
The Heritage Trail remains open to members of the public throughout the event. All competitors are therefore asked to be considerate of other trail users and to share the route safely.
A Motiv8 charity walk will also be taking place along the Heritage Trail at a similar time. Runners should keep to the left when approaching walkers, slow down where necessary and allow plenty of space when passing.
Motiv8 have been informed of the race and will also be asked to follow the same guidance.
