The IOMAA sends their congratulations to the IOM Athletics senior team, supported by Döhle (IOM) Ltd, who won the West South 1 division at the Northern League on Sunday. The team put in a solid performance at Edge Hill University to take the league title having won three of the four rounds previously. This victory, which means promotion for Team IOM to the Premier Division next season, is testimony to all the hard work and training that the athletes do with their coaches and clubs. The higher level of competition next summer will bode well for our athletes’ preparation for the Island Games in the Faroes in July 2027.
A big thank you to not only all the athletes but also to Petra Atchison for her excellent management and to all the officials who accompany the team and who ensure that the meets run so smoothly.
